My sketches have gotten strangely surreal lately. I dunno, this one seems odd to me. Prolly because of the OOC.
I actually started drawing this as the cosplayers from our Abyss group at Anime Boston 2008 but it ended up as the actual characters instead. (also we had neither Ion, Peony nor Dist, but in 2009 I hear the latter two will make an appearance :3 ) I have no clue why Jade looks like he's sulking over there. Also needs moar Mieu.
Cosplaying as Guy was an...odd experience...I'm doing it again next (this?) year (2009) and this time I'll be more prepared...let's just say, all the girls like to pick on you, and will be disappointed if you don't act in-character. Those of you who know what I'm talking about...it's exhausting, okay. XD Eventually I would just collapse on the floor and flail a little as they latched on and hugged me...girls...be kind...seriously...it's a wonder I didn't have a seizure. XD
Not to mention my female friends cosplaying as guys (which I decided not to count because then I'd have frequent heart attacks) tend to hang all over me (and each other) as just part of the normal routine. XD
I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore. Also ep. 12 of the anime is out and it was awesome.
